I love German food so decided to try this restaurant. The service was terrible and the owners are rude. We had a roach crawling near our table and when we brought it to the owners attention she acted like we were seeing things and walked away from us. The food was only ok at best even though the cost is high. The biggest shock was the charge you pay for the live music. I would never go back there again!

Went for lunch, sat outside, our dog was welcome. I had a corned beef and cheese sandwich, excellent. The potato salad was fantastic, no mayo added. My wife had cucumber soup that she really enjoyed. Our dog was treated to a bowl of water and doggie ice cream. The staff was fantastic. Will definitely when in town.

Local friends brought us here when we were visiting, and the food and atmosphere were simply amazing! I was encouraged to try the beef stroganoff, which was simply incredible. The dessert? Sublime! Service was great--waiters were friendly and present anticipating needs.

Food was quite good, even though a tad pricey. The atmosphere and the ambience was great. I loved the abstract paintings on the wall. The staff was very professional and service was outstanding. The Jazz Club next door was great with a live trio playing the night we went. I would definitely go again.

First visit here. Everything was awesome. Wasn't a huge fan of German food. That changed today.

I really like this place if we are in the mood for an upscale dinner. Would like to say I like multiple dishes, but I can't get past the Jager Schnitzel. It is awsome. I have never ordered anything else. The red cabbage and the spaetzel are top notch. Two good German beers on tap.

Awesome, authentic German good in the heart of downtown Cocoa Beach. The menus has lots of German favorites. The portions are hearty. Prices are somewhat prohibitive. Closed on Mondays.

Great food, service. Plan ahead, because some of the entrees need advance ordering. Well worth planning ahead.

We go here a couple of times a year and the food is fantastic. The salad is great, the service is good. My wife has the goulash and it tasted great. I usually have the pork shank and it is wonderful. This restaurant is the best german food I know of and I travel back and forth from FL to NY a lot. The only reason I do not give the place 5 stars is because it is a little on the expensive side but it is worth it. Just wish I can afford to eat here more. lol. Recommended.

Have eaten here several times lately, as we enjoy the adjoining Jazz Lounge. The Heidelberg (and Heidi's Jazz Club) is a great place to spend an evening (especially the week-ends when the bands are better). The food (obviously German) is quite good, and all the usuals e.g. sauerbraten, schnitzle, home-made brats etc, are available. We had the pork and chicken on our last trip and they were both good. Also try the combo-platter of brats .. The restaurant is always pleasant, extremely neat & clean, with nice decor. If you are a two-some eat in the Jazz club to combine good music and good food.

Excellent ambiance for a Jazz club smack dab in the heart of Cocoa Beach. This german jazz joint makes a mean filet of Grouper. The haddock wasn't bad, though the waitress suggested the goulash. The house riesling was worth sharing the half-carafe.

Overrated, overpriced, and too ostentatious. The service can also be lacking. There are certainly better options around for German food. The adjacent jazz bar, however, is great. It is cozy and they bring in some great entertainers.

This restaurant is fantastic. The staff here us very friendly and helpful sith the wine list and menu. Our server came back to our table several times to be sure we were happy. I ordered the sour cream soup, baked brie, and wurst plate. The sour cream soup was something that I have never tried before and it was delicious. Baked brie was a large portion and expertly baked to yummy perfection. The wust plate was very as good as any had in fine restaurants in Germany, very impressive. Niki got the duck and honestly it was the one of the best duck dishes I have had in s long while. Superior quality and perfectly cooked. In my opinion it was a sensational dish. I would highly suggest this restaurant to locals or thise visiting the area. I will definately be back.

Came for a early bird engagement celebration with my new fiance's grandparents and had a delightful meal. I've never been to a German restaurant so I think this was a good one to break me in. The 4 salad 'salad' was excellent... and then half of us had beef strogonoff and the other half had weiner schnitzel... everyone enjoyed their meals to the fullest because there was not much left on the plates at the end. Service was a bit slow when it got busier towards the end of our meal. The live piano playing was a nice touch. Overall a great experience and will definitely add to my loop of restaurants I go to when in Cocoa.

I honestly would love to give this a better review since I was waiting to come here and have some yummy German food! I'm a fan of euro-cuisine, it's what I grew up on so I try every place I can! Let me set the scene...it's Valentine's Day...hubby had made advance reservations in the restaurant since we were going to come here last year but he waited and it was booked up. We were seated at the table in a near empty restaurant, there was a man playing piano, that was nice. From the minute our server (Monika) came to the table she was not at all friendly...that would have been slightly more acceptable to me had this place not inflated the prices on their entire menu for Valentine's Day!!!!!! So now to eat there on this specific day we are paying even more to have a grouchy server! She was fairly efficient but a smile goes a long way, especially when celebrating on V Day!!! I had the Hungarian Goulash with spaetzel and red cabbage. It was tasty and beef was tender. Hubby had chicken 'snitzel' with a lemon sauce, spaetzel and veggies (actually green beans and 3 carrots) For the $28 price tag it was very small and not at all like any other snitzel I've had...it was a VERY small baked, NON breaded chicken breast smothered in the lemon sauce. We had WAY better last week in Sanford! Apple streusel for dessert, had to pay to add ice cream and it was tasty but just ok overall. To end this I have to say there are FAR BETTER German restaurants around with bigger portions and friendlier service! Try them instead!

I just left Heidi's. I've lived in cocoa beach for over 40 years and my first time to Heidi's with friends. the service was poor. I had to get up 3-4 times to get waiter to follow through. food was OK, nothing to brag about... Even had to take my bill to bar to get CC processed. it was unbelievable considering the food/bar tab was $111. only had 2 house wines and 2 cocktails. house wine was $9.50 a pop... yes there was music and had to pay extra $15/person. I'm surprised that Heidi's stay in business considering their charge's are similar to typical tourist hotel charges. I would not recommend in the future but I might try again... In my opinion, I would not recommend Heidi's...

The Heidelberg is a bit out of place in Cocoa Beach it seems. The restaurant's clientele seem to be older than average. However, I went there recently with a co worker and the food and service were both very good. We had a cheese fondue which was pretty good. My coworker thoroughly enjoyed his lobster bisque and pork and I enjoyed my potato soup and beef stroganoff. The meal was seasoned well and paced properly. The service was spot on. Our server anticipated what we would need and would stop by at about the right time. All in all, this was a positive dining experience. If you like hearty German food, this is a good place. The piano player was a very nice touch. Good job guys.

A bit pretentious but the food was authentic and filling. Service was solid and friendly once he warmed up. Expensive, special occasion type of restaurant.
